We are hoping to expand our local network of Elbow Tree Christian Counselors to reach an even more diverse community in the Fort Lauderdale area. Clients typically travel as far as 40-minutes to our office. That means we have a footprint into surrounding communities like Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Lauderdale By the Sea, Dania Beach, Las Olas, Coral Ridge, Davie, and Hollywood.

What does Elbow Tree offer Registered Interns?
  • The opportunity to see an eclectic client load of clients (individuals, couples and families) and local college students.
  • Weekly to Bi-Weekly supervision - focused, structured and as needed "on the fly" supervision. 
  • Hayne has supervised 20 registered interns to full licensure. 
  • Exposure to a community of competent Christian counselors who also serve as supportive colleagues and mentors along the way.
  • Grass roots training in marketing, branding, digital HIPAA compliance strategies, and the opportunity to pivot into private practice under the Elbow Tree umbrella beyond graduation, should an invitation be extended. ​
